If you want to learn how to link build for your website, you will often find it very challenging, tedious and repetatitive.

I would always recommend outsourcing your link building if possible as it is cheaper and more effective than doing it yourself.

Why not check out RankWarriors Link Building Service NOW!

If you don’t have the funds, then here is a little tip to get you over 2000 free backlinks from a high authority page rank 7 site.

The name of the site is identica. Identica is a social micro blogging service similar to Twitter, built on open source tools and open standards.

Allows users to send text-based posts up to 140 characters. The major difference between the two is that identica allows dofollow backlinks and twitter does not.

As I mentioned in my opening sentence of this chapter , I am going to show you how toget backlinks on over 2000 identica pages just by clicking buttons on this page rank 7 site.

Follow the following easy steps to start generating free high authority backlinks as easy as clicking a button.

1. Join http://identi.ca .When you join enter the website that you want free backlinks to as your homepage and write a quick bio about yourself or blog.

2. Login to your http://identi.ca account.

3. To get free backlinks on this site the only thing you need to do is just click the search button at the top right hand side of the site and you will come to a page that reads people search.

4. Enter a keyword phrase in the search box and then click search. There you will see a list of people that you can follow (subscribe to).

5. Click on each person’s subscribe button and continue this process for as many keywords and for as many people as you like.

The reason you are subscribing to as many people as possible is because each person that you subscribe lists you and your website’s Url on their page.

This mean everyone who you subscribe to gives you a free backlink to the site you listed as your homepage when you opened your free account.

I have generated over 2000 backlinks just by subscribing to people so far, and I have not even scratched the surface.

So what are you waiting for….Start Subscribing and to people and grabbing free backlinks from the page rank 7 site.

Whatever YOU may have been told … whatever YOU may have read
… a poorly written description tag on your website could potentially
lose you thousands upon thousands of customers on a daily basis.

Your meta description tag is one of the few controls you have over
Google … and if you don’t use it to your advantage you are missing out
on huge opportunities to make £££’s or even £££££££’s!

Let’s put it this way, if you were advertising to sell Harley Davidson’s
which description tag would you rather use in your Google listing …

a. “We were established in 1987, and we are Harley Davidson
experts in the UK and in Europe. We offer a great range of Harley
Davidson’s…”

b. “Lightning Deals on Harley Davidson’s! Cruise Down to our
Showroom Today … and Take Your FREE Test Ride … Up To 75% Sale
Now On!”

If you chose (a) … OR your website’s description tag looks like (a) …
this simple tag could be losing you thousands of potential customers
desperate to buy your product or service.

This warrior technique is such a simple one to implement … yet
thousands of websites are not using it!

A well written description tag will increase your click through rate …
give your website a better chance of survival … and ultimately increase
your profits!

The fi rst thing you should note is that description tags are “query
dependant”. This means, if you don’t have one … Google will
randomly select one for you from your body text. And … you don’t
want that!

If you allow Google full control over selecting your description, you
could end up with something that … doesn’t read right … doesn’t get
attention … doesn’t get clicks … and doesn’t get SALES!

You MUST treat your description tag like a sales headline … it will
drive more traffi c to your site and give YOU the warrior edge over
your competitors.

The title and description of your site are the first, and possibly only,
impression you make on a prospective sale.

Without a well written description tag that turns a browser into a buyer,
the rest of your website might as well not even exist!

But a description tag can also do a lot more than simply grab attention.

A well written description tag can communicate a full message to a
potential buyer … and lure them into clicking on your link.

On average, a whopping 8 out of 10 people will click a link based on the
title and description of a site!

This is the secret to the power of the description tag, and why it so
highly determines the effectiveness of your entire internet presence.

The better your description … the better your odds of blowing away
your competition and getting your products and your services shown to
larger numbers of people.

Today we are going to let you in on some of the basic warrior tactics
involved in the planning and preparation involved in designing your
site structure with SEO in mind.

Phew … a lot to cover here, it’s going to be action packed, but essential
for your training.

Ok … ready warriors?

Let me ask you a question … would you like as many of your potential
customers to see the great content, products and services on your
website exactly as you designed it?

I thought so.

Have you heard of W3C compliance? Without it your website could
look totally different to how you designed it on your customer’s
website.

If your site is not W3C compliant the only computer on which your
website will look exactly like you designed it is on is probably …
your own.

Not only that … but there are increasing amounts of customers who
browse the internet on different devices such as iphone’s, PDA’s and
mobile phones.

Wikipedia states that in March 2009 Internet Explorer had a 67% market
share but that still leaves a whopping 33% of your potential customers
who use other browsers.

Pictures could be missing, wrongly sized or in the wrong place,
submission forms may not work, text may be missing, colours could be
wrong … or worse … your site may not show at all.

And if you, or your web designer, only test on one internet browser …
you would never know.

Because the 33% of customers you may be losing as sure as hell won’t
take the time to call and tell you, after all … would you?

This is the fi rst question I always ask web designers because it instantly
tells me if they are ‘laying the foundations’ right.

Have you paid a web designer to design your site? Pick up the phone
right now and ask him about W3C compliance … you might be
surprised!

As a web designer this should be STANDARD PRACTICE … and if
you or your web designer are not following these simple standards you
could be pouring £££’s down the drain.

Once your website is W3C compliant your customers will give you
more respect, and your website will be the sales machine that you
planned it to be.

There is also another HUGE benefi t of being W3C compliant … but
we’ll let you know that in another post!

Until then, get your site compliant … it could be the making or
breaking of your online business.

There are still numerous SEO companies that are offering keyword research tips that have been around since the 1990′s and no longer work.

If you get offered any of these ‘experts’ offering you advice .. it’s time to move on.

Don’t take any of their advice!

1. “Buy-a-keyword-rich-domain.com”  This worked great in the year 2000, but unfortunately its effect has seen much decline over the years and could even have a negative effect in some instances.

Don’t waste your time searching for a domain like this, instead spend your time writing articles, or getting fresh backlinks.

2. “Your keyword meta tag is missing”  There is a lot of proof out there including statements from Google that the meta keywords tag is abandoned and not even looked at by the search engine. By all means include it as it won’t hurt your site, but only spend about 30 seconds doing it!

3. “Stick to high volume keywords”  Anyone who says this obviously doesn’t know about the longtail. Go after keywords that work, not for volume.

4. “Go after keywords with the most searches” Ok? So I have a mobile phone store, should I target ‘phones’?? What is the likelyhood of that happening!

5. “Use automated tools” There are some tools out there that automate all of your keyword research, including optimizing pages to suit keywords. Human involvement is essential!

6. “Repeat your keyword atleast 3 times on your page” No comment on this one, it’s just rediculous!

7. Keep your keyword density between 3-5%. I don’t even bother with keyword density. Write for your customers not for search engines.

If you want some decent keyword research advice for your site, drop me an email at david@rankwarrior.com. I won’t bite, and I won’t charge you for advice!
